Digital Inclusion - Provide residents with the skills to engage online through the provision of informal/formal ICT sessions. Also coordinating after school coding club sessions at local primary schools in the borough, volunteers with IT skills welcomed.
Child Welfare Practitioner - Offering support to children up to the age of 11 years and their families who may have additional needs i.e. emotional, social or behavioural.
Employability Project - Helping local people across Torfaen to access work placement, voluntary and training opportunities. Building on existing skills to increase employment options.
Life Coaching - One to one support, advice and guidance to unemployed individuals with work related barriers back into work.
Financial Inclusion Project - Building the financial skills and resiliance of young people and households through maximising benefit take up and budgetary advice.
Physical Wellbeing - Providing healthy activities for young people to tackle the early issue of inactivity and obesity.
Healthier Lifestyles – Delivers a range of accredited early intervention and prevention activities in both community and educational settings. The Officer focus on individuals to make healthier lifestyle choices, around a range of factors contributing to health and wellbeing, centred on a complementary range of project activities. These activities focus on cooking, diet and nutrition to act as enablers for behaviour change, which supports individuals to make healthier lifestyle changes.
